IN THE PRESENCE OF LONG-MA
Braving the snow and cold, Astérion the Minotaur travels along the Giants’ Trail by torchlight, carrying travelers on his back. When he appears in the Hall, he meets the gentle gaze of Long Ma, who awakens as the instruments and musical machines of our mechanical bestiary chime.
Gently, night falls on the square in front of the market hall, while fir trees and braziers create a warm atmosphere. The chestnut roaster is lit, the chestnuts are browning, and the fire is crackling. The aroma of crêpes, hot chocolate, and mulled wine fills the air, when suddenly, snow begins to fall. The snowflakes dance in a contagious frenzy: the joy is all the greater because it is convivi’Halle!

This year, Long Ma is the real star of Christmas. Majestic and magnetic, she attracts everyone’s attention as soon as she appears, lighting up the Halle with her incandescent breath and surprisingly graceful movements.
She will offer her last moments of grace to the Hall before flying off to new adventures on January 4. She will wake up several times a day in the heart of the Hall. A final gift left to the loyal audience that has accompanied her throughout her stay.

A festive table. Delicious food. Sparkle in your eyes. Fine bubbles of champagne. Joy in your hearts… As the year draws to a close, the Lunches for the Little Mechanics captures the magic of Christmas!
