La Halle de la Machine invites you to explore a spectacular, poetical world.
La viste de La Halle
Immersion in the world of La Machine
How does the famous wine-serving machine actually work? Why has it suddenly started snowing in La Halle? Which unfamiliar instrument is playing this note? Guided by our Veritable Machinists, who are the only ones able to divulge the answers to these questions and more, visitors will dive into the dreamlike world of our performance machines.
Duration: unlimited. Visitors can stay for as long as they like (but not after La Halle has closed). However, the average visit lasts an estimated 1 hour to an hour and a half.
Organisation: groups will benefit from a special welcome and then visit La Halle with all other visitors. The Veritable Machinists talk to all visitors at the same time (and sometimes in several languages).
Voyage en Minotaure
We offer visitors the chance to experience a unique journey whilst being borne aloft by a Minotaur (as far as we know, no other Minotaur exists in the world) and to view the public space from a different, informed perspective, thereby witnessing the transformation of the land. This monumental machine, which is about 9m high, can transport up to 50 people over two levels.
Duration: about 45mins including boarding and disembarking.
Le Manège Carré Sénart
Giant buffaloes hauling mobile fish heads cross a circle of insects on rails, whilst other climbing creatures move around this fanciful, fairytale-like structure. This wooden and steel roundabout is characterised by its unusual shape, its abnormal dimensions and its mechanical bestiary. It is set up on the former Aéropostale runway near La Halle, just like a fairground ride where travellers exchange glances.
The roundabout will be open on Saturdays and Sundays as well as during school holidays at La Halle de la Machine opening times.
The roundabout is outside La Halle and operates depending on the season. Tickets can only be purchased individually at the venue.
